Based on ANP-Robotaxi framework, Apollo Moon integrates Apollo Navigation Pilot with the tailored laser radar and advanced driverless technologies to realize comprehensive autonomous driving. Additionally it is armed with omni-sensors, robust computing, perfect failure detection and degrading solutions, enabling 5G cloud-based substitute drive, V2X and pilotless operation.

Intelligent IMC platform technically lays a solid foundation for the fresh new Robotaxi, which is established and proven in line with top standards to support various models and prototypes as well as integrations of key technologies and systems. With AI-driven electronic architecture, scalable cloud services and powerful and secure EV technologies, it can empower ARCFOX with leading smart applications.

As Baidu is the pioneer in China’s autonomous driving market, its Apollo has achieved 2900 patents, 244 test plates and autonomous driving mileage of over 12 million km with 40,000 km increased per day, equal to one circle around the earth every day.

ARCFOX partners with Baidu Apollo team to design and manufacture Apollo Moon, the new generation of autonomous vehicle that meets law compliance, which is expected to hit the road in some selected areas in Beijing.    

At the press conference, ARCFOX and Baidu jointly announces further cooperation strategy in launching over 1000 shared autonomous vehicles and building up the biggest driverless test fleet, which will promote Apollo in more urban areas in 3 years for its sustainable commercialization.
