BAIC Group has been implementing a large-scale international operation in line with its international strategy. The timing couldn’t be better for an overseas operation as the company just ranked No. 248 among the world’s top Fortune 500 companies in 2014, putting BAIC Group at the very center of globalization. This is the second time that BAIC made it to the top 500.

In 2011, BAIC acquired INALFA, one of the world’s largest panoramic sunroof companies. This acquisition turned INALFA into the vanguard of BAIC’s international journey and provided a solid foundation for BAIC’s penetration of the international market.

On July 15th and 16th, Zhang Xiyong, general manager of BAIC Group, Li Zhili, deputy party secretary and other top managers of BAIC visited the global headquarters and European research & development center of BHAP.

The deputy general manager of BHAP, President and CEO of INALFA Roof Systems Frank Löschmann informed Zhang Xiyong about the business development activities of INALFA. After the most recent rapid developments, INALFA completed ahead of schedule its strategic benchmarks for 2016 and surpassed the 1.1 billion euros turnover mark. The company is now well underway to reach its targets for 2020. Zhang Xiyong urged Hainachuan INALFA to capture the trend of globalization in the automotive industry and to seize the market opportunities in China while at the same time ensuring steady growth in the North American and European markets.

INALFA is a major global automotive manufacturer that provides design, development and production of skylights and open sunroof systems. Hainachuan Automotive Parts Co., Ltd. acquired INALFA in July 2011. Hainachuan provides quality services to its customers based on their excellent engineering capabilities and global production layout (including Europe, USA, South Korea, China, Brazil, Mexico and Japan).
