On January 29, 2015, BAIC celebrated the successful production of the 400,000th vehicle at its Zhuzhou production plant. It took nearly six years of construction and development to turn Zhuzhou into the successful production base it is today. Under the leadership of BAIC’s management team, the development of the Zhuzhou branch was based on principles such as entrepreneurship, rapid development, increased production capacity and quality control.

The general manager of Zhuzhou branch Huang Wenbing noted that the completion of 400,000 vehicles did not only mark an increase of accumulated production and sales, but that it highlighted significant improvements in terms of quality of operations, production support capabilities, corporate social influence and employee happiness.

Since 2014, BAIC’s Zhuzhou branch has focused on enhanced product and service quality. The A113/A115 was highly successful and won competitions in JD POWER’s compact car segment as well as a first place for the MZ40 in the JD Power APEAL survey. Meanwhile, output indicators and profit targets were surpassed and new breakthroughs in quality and efficiency were achieved. 2015 promises to be a successful year for BAIC and the Zhuzhou production base.

The BAIC Zhuzhou Branch was established by BAIC Group under the name of BAIC Motor Corporation Ltd. Zhuzhou Branch. The company is located in Zhuzhou City, Tianyuan District, Li Yu Industrial Park. It is Zhuzhou’s first passenger car project.
